Hugh Cantrell

Hugh Cantrell is general manager of Administrative Services for DENSO Manufacturing Athens Tennessee, Inc., in Athens, Tenn., where he oversees the companyÕs Human Resources and Safety and Environmental activities.

Cantrell joined DENSO in 1997 as supervisor and was later promoted to general manager of Administrative Services in 2003.

Cantrell has more than 19 years of Human Resources and Safety and Environmental experience.  Prior to joining DENSO, he held various positions at Maytag in Cleveland, Tenn.  

Cantrell earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, majoring in Personnel Management at the University of Tennessee in Knoxville, Tenn.  

Cantrell is an active participant in the community and has served as president of the United Way of McMinn and Meigs County, as well as president of the McMinn County Economic Development Authority.
