It was the fourth consecutive year DENSO, global supplier of advanced technology, systems and components, earned "Partner" status, the highest achievable level in Deere & Company's annual awards program.
DENSO reached this level at four Deere locations: the Dubuque Engine Division, Deere Systems Power Group, Harvester Works and Waterloo Works for outstanding supplier performance.
DENSO Vice President Doug Patton says, "We're extremely pleased to be recognized by our long-time customer, Deere & Company."
Since 1975, DENSO has supplied fuel systems, starters, air conditioning compressors and alternators to Deere for equipment production.
"We feel honored to have received Deere's highest supplier quality award and we plan to work very hard to continue this relationship," says Gene Westemeier, manager of DENSO's Cedar Falls, Iowa, Service Center. "It's a positive reflection on our Cedar Falls staff and on the quality of DENSO products."
