Dear North American DENSO Associates,
I think that everyone in North America is full of sadness and anxiety and fear as we see the increase in COVID-19 cases in much of our region. Many of you may have felt the impact of this pandemic personally, whether financially or through the illness or loss of a loved one. You might be feeling fatigue mentally, emotionally and physically, so please take care of your health.
DENSO’s commitment is to “protect the safety of our associates and their families.” We will continue to do everything we can to keep you safe at work.
As of July 13, we have had 94 positive COVID-19 diagnoses at affiliates in our region. We know that 89 of those associates became infected outside of work. For five cases, we are still investigating. We will update you when we confirm those details.
This is why it’s so important to take care at home and in your community, as well as at work. Please be vigilant about protecting yourselves and your loved ones. Wear a face covering, wash your hands, keep a physical distance from those you don’t regularly interact with, etc. We are all in this together, and if we combine our efforts, we can help keep each other safe and healthy and keep our economy moving.
Together with you, I would like to keep contributing to society in each region through all of our activities, including our business and our community support.
