Change in Travel Agency & Process, Now using Kintetsu

The following is only applicable to associates at DIAM (including those at affiliate locations), DMMI, ASMI/ASKY, DMAR, DMNC and KDMK.

Nippon Express, our current travel agency will be closing on Sat., Oct. 31. This will result in Concur Travel (not Concur Expense) being inaccessible to DENSO associates. While we work to secure a new long-term partner, we have implemented a temporary process through Kintetsu.

Effective Oct. 22, you must use Kintetsu for all travel reservations. This is a temporary process to use until further notice. Details on this below.

WHO: Associates at DIAM (including DIAM associates at affiliate sites), DMMI, ASMI/ASKY, DMAR, DMNC and KDMK.

WHAT: Temporary change in travel agency use to make business travel arrangements. Please refer to attached DENSO North America COVID-19 Travel Policy Update before making travel plans.

WHEN: The temporary process outlined below goes into effect immediately and continues until further notice.

Temporary Process:

  • For initial outreach to Kintetsu, associate completes and submits DENSO Business Traveler Profile form to DENSO@kintetsu.com.
  • Associate emails travel details to Kintetsu, copying manager, and requests a quote for travel.
  • Kintetsu provides details and costs. NOTE: the ticket can only be held for 24 hours.
  • Associate sends Travel Approval Form: COVID 19 (attached) to ABF leader.
  • Associate sends signed Travel Approval Form: COVID 19 to Kintetsu, copying manager, as approval to book travel.
