DIAM: COVID-19 Update (April 13)

A message from President & CEO Ken Ito.  

I hope you were able to relax and refresh yourselves over the holiday weekend. It is especially important during challenging times like this pandemic, to take care of yourselves and to spend time (safely) with family and friends.

Last week, Michigan’s Governor Whitmer announced an extension of the Stay Home/Stay Safe order through April 30. DENSO’s Michigan facilities will abide by this order, which means all associates who are not allowed to come to actual site should continue to work from home or stay at home until at least April 30.

Again, this is to ensure that those associates who have to be at a DENSO plant or campus to do their jobs, are able to work in a safer environment, with few people around.

I deeply appreciate your commitment and contributions and your understanding of how important it is to cooperate and collaborate in this “new normal” way of working.

Please take care of yourselves and your loved ones.
