DENSO North America
Weekly COVID-19 Case Update – Jan. 29-Feb. 5, 2021
This week, 89 additional positive COVID-19 diagnoses were reported at DENSO affiliates in North America. This brings our total to 2,622 positive diagnoses throughout Canada, Mexico and the United States (U.S.).
While we are thankful to report a continued downward trend in case rates again this week, we must also share the tragic news that another DENSO associate has passed away due to COVID-19 complications. Please join us in sending our deepest sympathies and condolences to this associate and their family.
Following local investigations into cases at DENSO facilities this week, most were classified as community spread (household, gatherings, travel, etc.). There are four cases in Mexico this week that have been classified as possible workplace exposure, and two cases are still under investigation.

We do not know when COVID-19 vaccines will be available to DENSO associates. But we do know that we want to make getting the vaccination as easy as possible for everyone. So this week we will begin sharing vaccine information from the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) and other industry partners.
Getting vaccinated adds one more layer of protection for you, your coworkers, your family, and your loved ones. Here are some things you should know about COVID-19 vaccination:
The National Association of Manufacturers has kicked off This is Our Shot, a vaccine awareness campaign. We think this video, “I Love Frank,” could bring a smile to your Friday. Thanks for learning with us as DENSO prepares for our “shot” at the vaccine.
