DENSO International America, Inc.
Weekly COVID-19 Case Update
This week, we learned that two (2) DIAM associates were diagnosed with COVID-19.
Because the associates have not been on-site recently, there is no need for additional cleaning and sanitizing. Please respect confidentiality, even if you believe you know who these individuals are.
3 Ways to Access to DIAM Screening Survey:
All associates are required to complete the COVID-19 Daily Screening Survey prior to every DIAM campus visit.
1. Survey Link: www.densomedia-na.com/coronavirus/survey/ (Note: if you are using the Outlook mobile app, you will need to download the Edge browser from the Company Portal in order to view this link). If you go to campus regularly – bookmark this link!

COVID-19 Vaccine: How long does it take for the COVID vaccination to be effective?
It typically takes two weeks after vaccination for the body to build protection (immunity) against the virus that causes COVID-19. That means it is possible a person could still get COVID-19 before or just after vaccination and then get sick because the vaccine did not have enough time to provide protection. People are considered fully protected two weeks after their second dose of the Pfizer-BioNTech or Moderna COVID-19 vaccine, or two weeks after the single-dose Johnson & Johnson’s Janssen COVID-19 vaccine.
You should keep using all the tools available to protect yourself and others until you are fully vaccinated. After you are fully vaccinated, you may be able to start doing some things you had stopped doing because of the pandemic. Learn more about what you can do when you have been fully vaccinated.
Let’s Learn Together: Do DENSO safety guidelines change when local/state government restrictions do?
DENSO’s Risk Minimization Toolkit, and policies for masking, cleaning and social distancing will continue to follow CDC guidelines. As COVID-19 variants increase the spread of coronavirus, we must remain committed to protecting ourselves and each other. As vaccination rates increase, some state and local government orders may change policies in your community, but DENSO policies have not changed. COVID-19 safety policies, including face masks, are required at all DENSO North America sites, and we recommend that you follow all best practices for COVID safety in the community as well, including during business travel.
