DENSO U.S. Sites to Revise Face Mask Requirements

As cases of COVID-19 fall and vaccination rates rise, DENSO will begin rolling back COVID-19 risk minimization policies and procedures to align with changes in federal, state and local guidelines, while maintaining our commitment to risk minimization.

DENSO companies in the United States will align under a new face mask policy where permitted by state and local mandates*. This policy revision does not completely end the requirement of face masks at any of the DENSO locations, but rather provides an option for individuals who are vaccinated to no longer wear face masks.

Next week, each location will send a separate communication announcing implementation date and details for how to verify vaccination status to be individually exempt from wearing a face mask.

DENSO U.S. Face Mask Revisions do not apply for DENSO Operations in California as current state requirements (CalOSHA) do not align with updated CDC and current federal OSHA guidance (under state review).
