This week, we learned of one (1) additional associate from our Southfield campus who tested positive for COVID-19. We were notified of this positive diagnosis on Oct. 26. The associate has not been on-site since Oct. 9, so there is no need for additional cleaning and sanitizing. We ask that you respect confidentiality, even if you believe you know who this associate is. Please join us in wishing for their quick recovery.
From Oct. 23-30, 2020, we have had 124 new positive COVID-19 diagnoses at DENSO affiliates in North America. That brings our total to 979 positive diagnoses across the region.
We are deeply saddened to report that a DENSO team member lost his battle with COVID-19 and passed away.
Let’s work together to minimize risk at work and outside of work. Continue to wear a mask, keep a physical distance and wash your hands. DENSO will continue to follow, assess and improve its in-house guidelines and external vendor procedures to keep our worksites safe. COVID-19 is a deadly virus, and we have to stay vigilant in terms of safety. Please do your part to keep yourself and others safe.
