On Sept. 21, DIAM confirmed that two associates from our Southfield campus tested positive for COVID-19.
The first associate was last on the Southfield campus in Building 40 on Sept. 14. The second associate was last on campus in Building 30 on Sept. 17. Neither associate exhibited COVID-19 symptoms while on campus. In accordance with North America guidelines, work areas and common areas were thoroughly cleaned and disinfected. All associates who may have been in close contact (within six feet or more for more than 10 minutes) have been asked to closely monitor their personal health.
Because there were no positive COVID-19 cases at DIAM, we have determined that these two cases were contracted through community spread. We ask that you respect confidentiality, even if you believe you know who these individuals are. Please join us in wishing for their quick recovery.
From Sept. 18-25, 2020, we have had 47 new positive COVID-19 diagnoses at DENSO affiliates in North America. That brings our total to 632 positive diagnoses across the region.
