DIAM: COVID Weekly Case Count (Oct. 9-16 2020)
COVID-19 cases are rising across the United States, Canada and Mexico, so please continue to follow the five core safety actions:
- Monitor your health: Check your temperature regularly, stay home and quarantine when you’re feeling sick
- Social distance: Steer clear of crowds and confined spaces. Keep 6 feet distance to avoid close contact with others.
- Wear a face covering: When going out in public or seeing others outside your home, properly cover your nose and mouth with a face covering.
- Disinfect: Start and finish with a clean work area. In the home, frequently clean commonly used areas, surfaces, light switches, door handles, etc.
- Wash and sanitize hands frequently: Wash with soap and water for 20 seconds frequently throughout the day.
NA Region Cases
From Oct. 9-Oct. 16, we have had 55 new positive COVID-19 diagnoses at DENSO affiliates in North America. That brings our total to 786 positive diagnoses across the region (one previously reported diagnosis turned out to be a false positive, meaning our total count from last week was actually 731).

Important Reminders:
If you have COVID-19 symptoms:
- Do not come to any DIAM campus
- Inform your manager or chain of command
- If you have been at a DIAM campus in the last seven (7) days, send a note to covid@na.denso.com and include:
- dates symptoms started
- date of last day onsite
- Someone will follow up with you to gather additional information.
If you’ve been diagnosed with COVID-19:
- Do not come to any DIAM campus
- Inform your manager or chain of command
- You or your manager needs to send an email to covid@na.denso.com with this information:
- date symptoms started
- date of last day onsite
- date of COVID-19 test results
- Someone will follow up with you to gather additional information.
