DIAM: Update on Return to Work Policy for all DIAM Locations

Most states are transitioning out of their stay home executive orders and implementing reopening plans, so we want to share guidelines and direction on how we’ll move forward at all DIAM locations.

Our first priority is associate safety and compliance with all state and local requirements. The following policy applies to all DIAM locations with the exception of the locations listed below. Locations listed as exceptions will be required to continue to follow their local and state requirements until further notice.

We will continue to monitor the situation in all communities where we do business, so we can ensure our Return to Work policy is in line with any future changes.

DIAM Return to Work Policy

Office

Preferred work method is work from home where job permits and 100% value add can be achieved.

  • Associates may return to work from the company part-time or full-time in order to increase the amount of value they can add up to 100%. This is for associates who have not been able to provide full value while working from home.
  • Any work that is capable of being performed remotely must be performed remotely. According to our policy, please continue to work from home if your job permits and you can achieve 100% value add from home.

Please talk with your manager regarding your individual situation and your work plan.

Warehouse

  • Associates can work in warehouse to meet customer orders, prepare for future orders, or approve required items to meet customer needs.
  • Allow associates to work on value-added projects which are not customer related, such as internal kaizen, necessary training, etc.

Please talk with your manager regarding your individual situation and your work plan.

Exceptions

  • Preferred work method is work from home where job permits and 100% value add can be achieved.
  • DIAM Silicon Valley—work from company is restricted to minimum basic operations only.
  • DIAM Seattle—work from company is restricted to minimum basic operations only.

Follow the direction of your chain of command.

Remember the safety precautions in place:

  • Click here for process required when coming to DIAM Southfield campus. Please read carefully prior to coming to campus.
  • All those going to DIAM Southfield campus are required to complete the online DENSO COVID-19 Daily Screening before entering campus. Be prepared to show a screenshot confirmation that you completed the screening at the Security Guard shack on Denso Drive.
  • Be prepared to have your temperature taken at the associate entrances.
  • Face coverings are required unless you are seated at your desk, smoking, eating or drinking in a designated area, etc.
  • Maintain appropriate social distancing while in meetings or conversations.
  • Monitor your health. If you don’t feel well, don’t come to the campus.
  • If you have been exposed to someone with a positive COVID-19 diagnosis or with symptoms of COVID-19, please inform your manager and stay home.
  • Disinfect your workspace at the start and end of the day.
  • Wash your hands frequently, especially before and after coming into contact with common touch points (door handles, photocopiers, refrigerators, vending machines, elevator buttons, etc.)
