We continue to adapt to the challenges COVID-19 has brought to our communities and our workplaces. Despite the many unknowns, we stand by our philosophy of supporting you through this time, and ensuring DENSO can endure the extended slowdowns caused by COVID-19.
Meeting Critical Manufacturing Needs
Moving forward, there may be more associates required at DMMI to supply service parts, export customers, and anticipated mass production restarts. Additional guidance from the Federal Cybersecurity & Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) released this week defines transportation and its manufacturing supply chains as critical. This means our associates are an important contributor to the health of the transportation industry. We will continue working with our customers to produce what is necessary.
Protecting Associate Safety
DMMI is working to minimize the number of people required to work on-site while establishing additional safety precautions. Projects are underway to establish health screenings and other actions to keep our associates safe at work. It’s especially important for any associate who has had a fever in the past 72 hours to not come to work and contact our DENSO Family Health Center (269-965-3465) or their doctor and follow their instructions.
