As of Friday, March 27, there are no confirmed COVID-19 cases at DENSO facilities in Battle Creek. Right now, there are 9 confirmed cases in Calhoun County. We are committed to transparency and will inform all associates if someone is diagnosed with COVID-19.
CUSTOMERS
As COVID-19 impact spreads across North America, our customers have announced their plans to suspend manufacturing operations. Most customers are making weekly announcements, with tentative plans to resume production the week of April 13. Yesterday, Toyota announcedthey will resume North American operations on April 20.
DEPENDENT AUDIT
North America Benefits has extended the dependent verification audit deadline to April 30. Associates who have not yet responded to the request for documentation will receive a mailing early next week.

Part-time associates will be paid a pro-rated amount based on their standard work schedule. More details will be shared next week from Payroll.
Associates who wish to use PTO to supplement their hours next week should contact their supervisor. Otherwise, it will be coded as no pay-no penalty for all hourly associates.
Managers have lists of associates’ home phone numbers and will contact them directly if they will be requested or required to work. Thank you, especially, to our Hill-Brady Warehouse and other service part teams for continuing to safely run operations this week.
