DMMI – Kevin’s Update: 5.22.20

Good afternoon DMMI family,

As always, I hope everyone in your life is safe and healthy.  I will be brief with my message today. Moving forward, I will space out my updates as we begin communicating more often in person.

We had a successful week of growing, but reduced operations.  I especially appreciated seeing many of you in person and feeling a lot of your positive energy.  Our return to work continues to be safe and effective.  I am so proud of the effort that has been made to prepare our facility to navigate our, for now, “new normal”.   Even though the preparation was successful, our true success comes from the ideas, suggestions and solutions from our entire DMMI team.  I expect that all of you will be active in all the opportunities we encounter.

Operations continue to ramp up, so please be prepared as customers are indicating higher volumes sooner than originally communicated.  We must be safe and ready to respond to ensure that we continue to deliver the high level of quality and reliability that are customers know us for.

Remember, upon returning to work, each of us must complete DMMI’s COVID-19 Return to Work Training.  The training is meaningful and will help each of us make the transition back on-site at DMMI.  This is also a requirement for full operations to resume as per Governor Whitmer’s executive order.

The Memorial Day holiday is upon us.  Each year, this holiday reminds me of what a wonderful country I live in.  This year, we are all facing many unique challenges, but now more than ever, I am lucky to be living in the USA with all of you and the heroes that live among us.

However, I will spend time this weekend never forgetting the heroes that are no longer here.  I invite each of you to do the same.
