Pay Approach for Week of May 24
We continue to expand our operations across the region in alignment with state and local government orders and our customer schedules. DENSO has been and will continue to strictly follow all state and local government orders and safety protocols to minimize risk.
Our overall approach to pay remains the same for the week beginning May 24. However, since there is a holiday next week, there will be a slight difference in paid hours. Please read the details below.
Safety
Non-exempt Associate Pay
*DENSO associates with paid time off (PTO) can choose to supplement this partial payment with a half day of PTO, otherwise the time will be recorded as unpaid time off without penalty.
Exempt Associate Pay
Exempt associates will follow the same plan and expectation as this week, as we continue to be in Phase 1, or operations focused on immediate customer needs. Please note that May 25 is Memorial Day, and you will receive 8 hours of holiday pay for that day.
We will continue to update you on a week-by-week basis about our approach to operations and pay. Our commitment is to communicate openly and honestly as we navigate the challenges ahead.

A Note about Face Shields
The face shields that DENSO has provided to associates are reusable. Please do not throw away any portion of your face shield. The foam padding along the forehead fitting can be replaced upon request. And remember, face shields should be cleaned and sanitized daily.
Need Payroll Help? Use the NA Payroll Email
Payroll questions, adjustments and inquiries should be sent to the North America Payroll email inbox. Please send a message to: na_payroll@denso-diam.com with your associate number and question or concern.
Stationary Smoking, Please!
A note to associates who use our smoking areas—please maintain social distance by standing near the designated buckets in the smoking areas. These areas were designed to minimize the amount of smoke that travels back inside the building while keeping social distance. Thank you!
Associate Survey – Safety, Return to Work
Please take a few minutes to respond to this week’s quick survey focused on safety and retuning to work. All responses will be completely anonymous and will help us develop meaningful and impactful plans as we transition to a new normal at work. To access the survey, go to https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/DENSO_COVID19-2
