DMMI Temporary Employee Tests Positive for COVID-19

Late on Friday, April 3, we were notified that a temporary agency worker assigned to Inbound Logistics has tested positive for COVID-19. The individual was last on the DENSO Manufacturing Michigan campus on Friday, March 20 during first shift.

Out of an abundance of caution, we consulted with our medical professionals and ensured proper notifications have taken place. Because 14 days has elapsed, CDC guidelines do not require associates to self-isolate, but we continue to ask everyone to self-monitor for fever or other symptoms.

In addition to continuous cleaning and limited operations, a third-party company will conduct a cleaning and disinfecting in the person’s work areas and common spaces they may have visited today.
