DMTN DIAGNOSIS
Sadly, we have learned that a temporary agency worker assigned to DENSO Manufacturing Tennessee (DMTN) in Maryville (Building 102) has tested positive for COVID-19. The individual was last on DMTN’s campus Wednesday, March 25, 1st shift.
In accordance with our North America guidelines, a professional service company began a thorough cleaning and disinfecting of Building 102 and other areas the person may have visited at 8 AM today, Thursday, April 2, 2020. Working with the person’s employer, we have reached out to all individuals who were in close contact (within six feet for more than 30 minutes) and are asking those people to self-quarantine for 14 days.
We ask that you respect confidentiality, even if you believe you know who this individual is. The person is recovering at home.
NO CASES AT DENSO IN BATTLE CREEK
As of Thursday, April 2, there are no confirmed COVID-19 cases at DENSO facilities in Battle Creek. DENSO is committed to transparency while protecting the privacy of personal health information. Our Medical Department continues to follow up on any reports of exposure risk to ensure we are doing what we can to understand this fast-changing situation.
