Pay & Operations Approach Remains the Same for Week of May 10
We continue to see favorable signs in regard to the number of COVID-19 cases in each state, which is good news. Within the auto industry, our customers are finalizing their plans to ramp up production, and we are working closely with them to ensure we are aligned.
As the situation improves, governments are working with the auto industry on a safe reopening. We expect this will happen sometime in May, but we don’t know the exact date at this time. When that happens, we will return to normal pay practices for working hours (regular wages and overtime). We will keep you updated on that timeline as we learn more.
Non-exempt Associate Pay
*DENSO associates with paid time off (PTO) can choose to supplement this partial payment with PTO, otherwise the time will be recorded as unpaid time off without penalty.
** Premium details: Daily premium(s) will be processed and paid one paycheck after payment for hours worked. We apologize for the additional time needed to process these payments. The premium is approximately 20% or more for most associates
Exempt Associate Pay
We will continue to update you openly and honestly as we navigate the challenges ahead. Please take care of yourself and your loved ones.
