Pay & Operations Approach Remains the Same for Week of May 10
We continue to see favorable signs in regard to the number of COVID-19 cases in each state, which is good news. Within the auto industry, our customers are finalizing their plans to ramp up production, and we are working closely with them to ensure we are aligned.
As the situation improves, governments are working with the auto industry on a safe reopening. We expect this will happen sometime in May, but we don’t know the exact date at this time. When that happens, we will return to normal pay practices for working hours (regular wages and overtime). We will keep you updated on that timeline as we learn more.
