As we continue to see an increasing trend in the number of COVID-19 cases across the country and in our communities, DENSO is updating our face covering policy to enhance safety measures and protect associates, effective Monday, August 10.
This change aligns DENSO’s approach to associate safety throughout North America with the regulations that many counties/states have implemented as both CDC and WHO continue to strengthen their guidance for face coverings.
While DENSO does have physical barriers, hand sanitizer, and other safety measures in place, we recognize that it can be challenging to achieve 6’ social distancing at all times, and to remember to put your face covering back on when someone comes to your personal workspace or when you stand up at your desk. Distancing and face coverings are both crucial in preventing spread and reducing risk. When social distancing can’t be achieved, wearing a face covering is the best way to protect your health and safety, and others who need to work on campus.
We will continue to modify our safety processes as we learn more about this new virus, and as more information and resources become available.
Remember, we’re in this together. Let’s protect one another and commit to following safety protocols and procedures every time we’re on-site as well as when we’re out in our communities.
