NA: Face Mask Requirements Changing

DENSO continues to make changes to our COVID-19 safety protocols in response to new information and guidance from the Centers for Disease Control (CDC). Beginning Monday, December 14, DENSO will strengthen our North America face covering policy as follows:

  • All associates will be required to wear face mask unless actively eating, drinking or smoking.
  • Face mask must meet CDC guidelines: It must fit properly, be 2 or 3 layers, and made with tightly woven, breathable fabric. Click here to see mask requirements. Bandanas, single layer gaiters and other non-conforming coverings are not
  • Anyone who can only use a face shield must maintain 6-feet distance from other associates at all times.If 6-feet is not possible, you are required to wear a mask during the interaction, in addition to the face shield.
  • Exceptions will require a doctor’s note, submitted to local HR Team Members Solutions by Monday, December 14.

This applies to all DENSO associates in the U.S. DENSO associates in Canada and Mexico will continue to follow local safety protocols. DENSO will continue to follow CDC guidelines in addition to country, state and local ordinances and adjust our internal safety measures accordingly.
