Our Future: Long-term Plan – Our Organizational Reforms
To achieve our Long-term Policy, DENSO must evolve as a company. What does this mean? It means change. Change at all levels to benefit the organization. It even means change of the organization’s structure.
As part of our Long-term Plan, our path to achieving our Long-term Policy, we’ve identified two organizational reforms:
- Enhancing a Vehicle-Based Perspective – establishment of Mobility Systems Business Unit to optimize development based on vehicle systems, not individual businesses
- Strengthening Competitiveness by Streamlining the Technological Development of Our Four Key Devices – streamlined development of all ECUs into the Electronics Business Unit, and development of sensors and semiconductors into the Sensor & Semiconductor Business Unit; both of these were previously done within individual businesses
