Due to a potential product quality issue, our new customer (Rig Tough, Rush Truck Dealers) required return/replacement of 1,656 PowerEdge alternators. This return involved 96 different locations.
Rig Tough/Rush is DPAM’s best opportunity to sell the PowerEdge alternator into the Class 8 market. Rush has 110 Dealer locations and a full sales team to promote the DENSO product. DENSO’s ability to support this very important customer’s request is vital to develop/strengthen our relationship with Rush.
The customer was not able to delay the return, as Rush planned to launch a promotion for the PowerEdge alternator January 1. Rush required return of all 1,656 units and receipt of replacement shipments before the end of 2016.
DENSO’s RGA process is a very labor intensive and manual process. Elena worked very diligently to complete all the RGA’s and supply these to the sales team for delivery to the customer. Elena also coordinated with receiving to insure that all units were accounted for and accurately credited to the customer.
Elena consistently demonstrates the highest care for customer service. Elena’s efforts are greatly appreciated! Great job Elena!
