When DENSO takes its show on the road in November to the 2016 Automotive Aftermarket Products Expo (AAPEX), the road will be part of the show.
Fashioned from cool gray carpeting with inlaid LED lighting, the “road” will steer visitors through the 3,850-square-foot display showcasing DENSO’s aftermarket products at the industry’s premier event. The “course” will spotlight DENSO spark plugs, starters, alternators, vehicle MRI systems and compressors. Additional displays will feature DENSO fuel, electrical, thermal and maintenance products, electronic sensors and MovinCool spot air conditioning and heating units.
“This year’s banner theme is ‘Depend on DENSO: For all Roads Traveled,’ said Larry Fidance, manager of Marketing for DENSO Products and Services Americas, Inc. “From products to presentation, every aspect of our exhibit will convey the quality, reliability and innovation synonymous with the DENSO brand.”
Held annually in Las Vegas, AAPEX is the main trade show for the $328.2 billion global aftermarket auto parts industry. More than 160,000 professionals – retailers, warehouse distributors, jobbers, technicians, industry leaders and innovators – from 148 countries are expected to attend the 2016 expo. An estimated 45,000 buyers will be among them.
With its prominent location at the entrance to the main hall, DENSO will be a major presence among the more than 2,200 aftermarket manufacturers and suppliers exhibiting during the Nov. 1-3 show. DENSO’s floor plan includes three private conference rooms and additional meeting areas.
Special features at this year’s DENSO exhibit are a “starting line” kiosk and a “finish line” where up to 150 visitors can build their own model cars each day. The fun includes a photo booth. Those who post their photos on-site to social media platforms will be entered in a drawing for one of two VIP packages to any race during the 2017 NHRA Mello Yello Drag Racing Series.
