How can congestion relieft and susainability be addressed? Through cooperative intelligent vehicle-highway systems. This is the key focus of the International Task Force on Vehicle-Highway Automation’s (ITFVHA) 18th Annual Meeting on Sept. 6, 2014 in Farmington Hills, Michigan.
The purpose of the invitation-only meeting is to provide a forum for information exchange and discussion among researchers, government officials and the private sector regarding ongoing programs to develop advanced driving assistance systems and automated driving.
Roger Berg, vice president of North America Research and Development, is one of the many speakers at ITFVHA. He will be speaking from 10:10 – 10:30 a.m. on DENSO’s perspective, or the “supplier’s perspective” on vehicle automation, and the importance to move forward with industry, academic and government cooperation.
