For the 15th consecutive year, DENSO is sponsoring the SAE 2015 World Congress in Detroit, Michigan at Cobo Center from April 21-23, 2015. DENSO has two executives participating on panel sessions and six employees presenting technical papers.

With this year’s theme “Leading Mobility Innovation,” DENSO is joining the best talent in the automotive industry to collaborate and address current challenges.

Pat Bassett, vice president of Research and Development at DENSO International America, Inc., is taking part in The Autonomous Vehicle Race panel at 9:30 a.m. on Tuesday, April 21. Located in the AVL Technology Leadership Center, Grand Ballroom B, Bassett is focusing on the Human Machine Interface (HMI) challenges we face as the industry heads toward autonomous drive.

Doug Patton, executive vice president of Engineering, chief technical officer of DENSO International America, Inc. and senior director of DENSO Corp., is joining educators, legislators and other corporate representatives  to discuss The Coming STEM* crisis on Thursday, April 23 at 1:30 p.m. in the FEV Innovation Forum, Grand Ballroom A. Panelists will address, discuss and work in identifying solutions to the struggles in filling STEM related positions and why STEM related fields are not growing.
