John Baciak III is Director of NA Material Engineering and PIC R&D Departments at DENSO International America, Inc. (DIAM), located in Southfield, Michigan. Baciak oversees the Material Engineering and the PIC R&D Departments which responsibilities include, material and process design review activity for all locally designed products and establishing and managing the new PIC R&D department that focuses on finding the next generation of R&D themes.
Baciak joined DENSO in 1997 as a Materials Engineer where he was responsible for developing metal materials that met specified material properties and analyzing in process and customer returns to eliminate issues from reoccurring. In 2006, Baciak accepted an overseas assignment in Japan as a Materials Engineer. He later returned in 2007 to resume his role as a Materials Engineer in the United States. In 2008, Baciak was promoted to Manager of NAMED metal group. In 2013, Baciak was named Senior Manager of MPDR/Analysis and Metal Groups before assuming his current role in 2017.
Baciak earned a Bachelor of Science in Material Science Engineering from The University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, Michigan.
