Timothy Roland is a Director of the PG1 Thermal Engineering Division at DENSO International America, Inc. (DIAM), DENSO’s North America Headquarters. Located in Southfield, Michigan, his primary responsibility is to optimize engineering tools and processes to enable competitive design and development activity while also leading the newly established Program Management function for the Thermal America Center business unit.
Roland joined DIAM in 1991 as an Engineer where he worked on the design and development of HVAC products for Chrysler Business. In 2002, Roland was appointed Manager where he worked with local product design. In 2006, Roland was promoted to Senior Manager for Thermal System Product Design before assuming his current role in 2012.
Roland earned a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Michigan Technological University in Houghton, Michigan.
