SOUTHFIELD, Mich. – DENSO’s manufacturing facility in Osceola, Arkansas received a prestigious Four Million Man Hour Safety Award recognizing more than four million employee hours worked without a lost day due to workplace injury or illness. The Arkansas Department of Labor, the Arkansas Insurance Department, and the Arkansas Workers Compensation Commission presented the award during a ceremony at the Osceola facility on April 27, 2017.
DENSO Arkansas’ employee and management safety committee implemented a comprehensive safety program to establish consistent benchmarks for safe working conditions. The award recognizes the facility’s 550 employees for demonstrating the highest levels of workplace safety practices, including more than four million hours of work without an accident, injury, or illness between June 15, 2013 and January 31, 2017.

The Arkansas Department of Labor, the Arkansas Insurance Department, and the Arkansas Workers’ Compensation Commission present this award to Arkansas companies excelling in on-the-job safety.
