Ben Luppino is vice president of Fiat Chrysler Automobiles/Nissan/Volkswagen/BMW/Tier-1 Sales Group at DENSO International America, Inc. (DIAM) located in Southfield, Michigan.
Luppino first joined DIAM in 1989 as a logistics specialist for the Material Management Division. He later joined the Japanese Car Group in 1992, where he served as supervisor responsible for the Mitsubishi/Subaru-Isuzu accounts. In 1998, Luppino was promoted to section manager of the General Motors Sales Group where he oversaw the Body Electronics Group. In 1999, Luppino was named manager of the General Motors Sales Group, and then was promoted to senior manager in 2000. In 2003, he was named director and in January 2011 he was promoted to his vice president and global lead of the General Motors Sales Group. In 2017, he was rotated to lead the Toyota/Nissan/Subaru/Hyundai/VW/BMW Sales Groups.
Luppino earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Material Logistics Management from Michigan State University in East Lansing, Michigan, and a Bachelor of Plastics Manufacturing Technology degree from the University of Detroit/Mercy in Detroit. He also earned a Master of Business Administration in International Business degree from Wayne State University in Detroit, and a Master of Science in Industrial Operations degree from Lawrence Technological University in Southfield, Michigan.
Furthering his professional education, Luppino earned a Certificate in Global Sales from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, Michigan.
